Roadies Winners from Season 1 to Latest Season

Let’s look at the MTV Roadies winners season by season and some of the stories behind their victories.

Roadies Season 1 – No Official Individual Winner

This is where many Roadies winner lists get an important detail wrong.

Rannvijay Singha is commonly described as the first Roadies winner, and many historical winner lists continue to identify him that way.

However, Raghu Ram clarified in 2025 that Roadies Season 1 did not actually have an official individual winner.

The original Roadies format was more about completing the journey than defeating everyone else to become a single champion. According to Raghu, seven contestants undertook the journey, with contestants being eliminated along the way, but there was no official winner crowned in the way later Roadies seasons would crown winners.

Rannvijay nevertheless became the breakout personality associated with the first season and would go on to become one of the most recognizable faces in Roadies history.

So, for accuracy:

Roadies Season 1 official winner: No individual winner

Commonly listed as winner: Rannvijay Singha

That distinction is worth remembering whenever you see a Roadies all-winners list online.

Roadies Season 2 Winner – Ayushmann Khurrana

Winner: Ayushmann Khurrana

Roadies Season 2 produced perhaps the most famous former Roadies contestant outside the franchise.

Ayushmann Khurrana won the second season before eventually establishing a successful career as an actor, singer and television personality.

For many newer viewers discovering old Roadies seasons, finding out that Ayushmann once won Roadies remains one of the show’s most surprising pieces of trivia.

Roadies Season 3 Winner – Parul Shahi

Winner: Parul Shahi

Parul Shahi emerged as the winner of Roadies Season 3.

The early Roadies seasons had a significantly different feel compared with today’s Gang Leader-based format, with the journey, auditions and personalities taking centre stage.

Roadies Season 4 Winner – Anthony Yeh

Winner: Anthony Yeh

Anthony Yeh won the fourth season of MTV Roadies.

The season continued the classic era of Roadies, when the show was becoming increasingly known for its difficult auditions, unpredictable journey and confrontational selection process.

Roadies Season 5 Winner – Ashutosh Kaushik

Winner: Ashutosh Kaushik

Ashutosh Kaushik won Roadies 5.0.

His reality-TV journey did not stop there. He subsequently participated in and won Bigg Boss 2, making him one of the better-known champions from Roadies’ earlier years.

Roadies Season 6 Winner – Nauman Sait

Winner: Nauman Sait

Nauman Sait became the winner of Roadies: Hell Down Under.

The season is still remembered by longtime viewers for its Australia journey and several memorable contestants and auditions.

Nikhil Sachdeva emerged as the winner of Roadies Season 11.

He defeated the competition to take the title in the season commonly associated with the Ride for Respect theme.

Roadies Season 12 Winner – Prince Narula

Winner: Prince Narula

Roadies X2 produced one of the biggest personalities in the show’s history: Prince Narula.

Prince won the season in 2015 and subsequently became a major reality-TV personality. More importantly for Roadies fans, he eventually returned to the franchise as a Gang Leader.

That transition from contestant and winner to Gang Leader has made Prince one of the personalities most closely associated with modern Roadies.

Prince is also part of the Gang Leader lineup connected with the new Roadies Rebirth era. You can see the current lineup in our Roadies Rebirth Gang Leaders and host list.

Roadies Season 13 Winner – Balraj Singh Khehra

It also meant consecutive Roadies victories for contestants from Neha Dhupia’s gang after Shweta Mehta’s win the previous year.

Roadies Season 16 Winner – Arun Sharma

Winner: Arun Sharma

Arun Sharma won Roadies Real Heroes in 2019 as a member of Raftaar’s gang.

His journey was particularly unusual because he had initially failed to secure direct entry during the culling round. He later entered as a wildcard and went all the way to the finale.

Arun defeated the competition in the final task to become Roadies Real Heroes champion.

Roadies Season 17 Winner – Hamid Barkzi

Winner: Hamid Barkzi

Hamid Barkzi won Roadies Revolution, which aired across 2020–21.

Hamid was part of Nikhil Chinapa’s team and eventually emerged as the champion of a season produced during a particularly unusual period for television production.

Roadies Season 18 Winners – Ashish Bhatia & Nandini G

Winners: Ashish Bhatia and Nandini G

Roadies: Journey in South Africa introduced a significantly different format.

Rather than producing one individual champion, Ashish Bhatia and Nandini G won together as a buddy pair.

Jashwanth Bopanna and Yukti Arora finished as the first runners-up. The result made Ashish and Nandini the show’s first joint-winning pair.

The season was hosted by Sonu Sood and was filmed in South Africa.

Winner: Vashu Jain

Season: Roadies Karm Ya Kaand

Gullu won MTV Roadies XX: Double Cross in the finale aired on June 1, 2025. He represented Elvish Yadav’s team when he won.

His journey was fitting for a season called Double Cross. After being eliminated, Gullu returned as a wildcard, went through further gang changes and ultimately found his way back to Elvish’s team before the finale.

The final task saw Gullu face Hartaaj Singh Gill. Hartaaj completed it in 1 minute 48 seconds, while Gullu completed it in 1 minute 16 seconds.

Which Roadies Winner Became a Gang Leader?

The most obvious example is Prince Narula.

Prince first competed on and won Roadies X2 in 2015. He later returned to Roadies as a Gang Leader and became one of the franchise’s longest-running modern personalities.

Rannvijay Singha followed an even more unusual Roadies journey: he participated in the original season and subsequently became the face of the franchise as its longtime host and mentor.

However, as explained above, Raghu Ram has clarified that Season 1 did not formally crown Rannvijay as an individual winner.

Female Roadies Winners List

Several women have won Roadies or shared the winning title over the years.

Shweta Mehta’s 2017 victory was particularly notable in the Gang Leader era because she won as part of Neha Dhupia’s gang, beating Baseer Ali in the final battle.

Roadies Winners During the Gang Leader Era

The modern Gang Leader format has produced several memorable winner-mentor combinations.

Gang affiliations can change during a season, which is important when reading these lists. For example, Kashish started with Prince before moving to Neha, Vashu started with Prince before eventually winning with Rhea, and Gullu’s Double Cross journey involved multiple twists before he ultimately won as part of Elvish’s team.

Roadies Rebirth is changing the dynamic again with its new lineup and format. See the complete Roadies Rebirth Gang Leaders list.
