Baseer Ali Roadies aka Baseer Bob is back where his television journey began — MTV Roadies — but this time, he isn’t returning as a contestant. He is one of the new Gang Leaders of Roadies Rebirth Season 21.

For longtime Roadies viewers, Baseer’s return is a full-circle moment.

He first entered the Roadies universe as a contestant on MTV Roadies Rising in 2017, where he went all the way to the finale. He later won MTV Splitsvilla 10, appeared in other reality shows, moved into acting and continued building his television career.

Now, nearly a decade after his original Roadies journey, Baseer Ali has returned as part of the NewGs in Roadies Rebirth.

So, which Roadies season was Baseer Ali in? Did he ever win Roadies? How old is Baseer Ali? What is his height, birthday, relationship status and net worth?

Here’s a complete look at Baseer Ali’s Roadies journey, Splitsvilla victory, personal life and return as a Gang Leader.

Who Is Baseer Ali?

Baseer Ali is an Indian television personality, actor and model from Hyderabad who became widely known after participating in MTV Roadies.

His television career began in 2017 with MTV Roadies Rising. The same year, he participated in MTV Splitsvilla 10, where his reality-TV journey reached another level.

Over the years, Baseer expanded beyond Roadies and Splitsvilla, appearing in shows including Ace of Space 2 and later moving into television acting with Kundali Bhagya. He was also a contestant on Bigg Boss 19 in 2025.

In 2026, his journey brought him back to MTV Roadies — only this time on the other side of the selection process.

Baseer Ali Biography – Age, Birthday, Height & More

Baseer’s birthday is reported as September 5, 1995, meaning he turned 31 on September 5, 2026.

Baseer Ali Age – How Old Is Baseer Ali?

Baseer Ali is 31 years old as of September 2026.

He was born on September 5, 1995, in Hyderabad, India.

Interestingly, his 31st birthday came at almost exactly the same time as one of the biggest developments of his career.

On September 5, 2026, Baseer’s return to Roadies as a Gang Leader became public, bringing his television career almost full circle.

When Is Baseer Ali’s Birthday?

Baseer Ali’s birthday is on September 5.

His reported date of birth is September 5, 1995.

For Roadies fans, September 2026 therefore became particularly memorable: Baseer celebrated his birthday while also beginning a new chapter with the franchise that originally introduced him to a national audience.

What Is Baseer Ali’s Height?

Baseer Ali is generally described as being approximately 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 3 inches tall.

Different entertainment-profile sources provide slightly different figures. StarsUnfolded lists him at approximately 188 cm (6’2″), while India Forums gives approximately 6’3″.

Because these measurements aren’t from an official measurement published by Baseer himself, it is more accurate to describe his height as approximately 6’2″–6’3″ rather than treating either number as definitive.

His tall, athletic appearance was already noticeable when he first entered Roadies.

And that’s where Baseer’s television story really begins.

Baseer Ali Roadies Journey

Which Roadies Season Was Baseer Ali In?

Baseer Ali participated in MTV Roadies Rising in 2017.

Roadies Rising marked Baseer’s television debut and introduced him to a much larger audience.

He entered the competition as a young contestant from Hyderabad and eventually became one of the season’s strongest performers.

Baseer didn’t merely survive a few episodes.

He reached the finale and finished as a runner-up.

That achievement established Baseer as a recognisable face among Roadies viewers and opened the door to what became a much larger reality-TV career.

Did Baseer Ali Win Roadies?

No, Baseer Ali did not win Roadies Rising.

He reached the final stage of the competition but finished as a runner-up.

That distinction is important because Baseer later did win another major MTV reality show — Splitsvilla 10.

His Roadies journey therefore didn’t end with the trophy, but it proved far more significant to his career than simply winning or losing a season.

Roadies gave Baseer his television beginning.

Almost a decade later, it has now given him another major role.

Baseer Ali: From Roadies Contestant to Gang Leader

This is what makes Baseer’s Roadies Rebirth return particularly interesting.

In 2017, Baseer was standing in front of Roadies personalities trying to prove that he deserved a place on the journey.

In 2026, aspiring contestants are standing in front of him.

Baseer reflected on that transition when announcing his Roadies Rebirth return. He described going from trying to find his place in a gang to now having the opportunity to build and mentor one himself.

That gives his Roadies Rebirth role a different dimension from someone entering the franchise for the first time.

Baseer knows what it feels like to be a Roadie.

He has experienced the tasks, pressure, competition and journey from a contestant’s perspective.

Now he gets to evaluate the next generation.

Baseer Ali in Roadies Rebirth Season 21

Baseer Ali is one of six Gang Leaders in MTV Roadies Rebirth Season 21.

The new season introduces a major change to the traditional Roadies gang structure.

Rather than six independent gangs, the Gang Leaders have been divided into two competing camps: OGs and NewGs.

OGs

Prince Narula
Neha Dhupia
Nikhil Chinapa

NewGs

Abhishek Malhan (Fukra Insaan)
Bani J
Baseer Ali

The Tribune reported from the Chandigarh auditions that the three leaders on each side will pool their selections and strategies within the larger OG and NewG camps.

For a complete breakdown of all six leaders, read our Roadies Rebirth Judges & Gang Leaders 2026 guide.

Why Is Baseer Ali a NewG?

Baseer belongs to the NewGs, but there’s an interesting twist to that description.

He isn’t actually new to Roadies.

Far from it.

Baseer’s association with the franchise dates back to 2017. What is new is his position of authority within the show.

The NewG label therefore represents the new generation of Roadies leadership, rather than simply people who have never appeared on Roadies before.

Bani J provides a similar connection between Roadies’ past and present because she too originally experienced the show as a contestant.

Baseer now brings his contestant experience into the NewG camp alongside Bani and Abhishek Malhan.

Baseer Ali vs the Roadies OGs

The OG vs NewG concept creates an interesting challenge for Baseer.

Across from him are Prince Narula, Neha Dhupia and Nikhil Chinapa, three personalities with extensive histories within the Roadies franchise.

Baseer and the NewGs therefore aren’t simply trying to select strong contestants.

They’ll be attempting to prove that a newer generation of Roadies leadership can compete against some of the show’s most established names.

Splitsvilla Baseer Ali

Roadies introduced Baseer Ali to television audiences.

Splitsvilla turned him into a winner.

After Roadies Rising, Baseer participated in MTV Splitsvilla Season 10 in 2017.

The season was hosted by Sunny Leone and Rannvijay Singha and featured the theme Experiment of Love.

Baseer eventually formed a winning pair with Naina Singh.

Did Baseer Ali Win Splitsvilla?

Yes. Baseer Ali and Naina Singh won MTV Splitsvilla 10.

They defeated Priyank Sharma and Divya Agarwal in the final and were declared the winners of the season.

This created an interesting progression in Baseer’s reality-TV career:

Roadies Rising → Runner-up

Splitsvilla 10 → Winner

Baseer’s success on Splitsvilla helped establish him beyond being remembered simply as a former Roadies contestant.

Were Baseer Ali and Naina Singh Dating?

Baseer and Naina’s partnership naturally generated questions about whether the Splitsvilla winners were romantically involved.

However, Baseer later described their relationship differently.

Speaking after the show, he said that he and Naina had a complicated equation but had chosen to remain friends during Splitsvilla rather than declaring themselves in love. He described Naina as an important person in his life and said they became close friends outside the show.

So it would be inaccurate to simply describe Naina Singh as Baseer Ali’s current girlfriend based on their Splitsvilla partnership.

Who Is Baseer Ali’s Girlfriend?

Baseer Ali has not publicly confirmed a current girlfriend in reliable recent reporting that we could verify.

There have been relationship rumours and speculation around Baseer at different stages of his public career, particularly because of his participation in dating reality television.

However, being paired with someone on a reality show does not automatically establish a real-world relationship.

Older reporting from India Today discussed speculation around Baseer’s romantic life in 2019 but also noted that he had not publicly identified the woman involved at that point.

Unless Baseer publicly confirms a current relationship, it is safer to treat names circulating through fan pages and social media as speculation rather than fact.

Baseer Ali Net Worth

Searches for Baseer Ali net worth have increased alongside renewed interest in his career.

However, there is an important distinction between an internet estimate and verified financial information.

What is Baseer Ali’s net worth?

There is currently no reliably verified public figure for Baseer Ali’s net worth.

Various celebrity and entertainment websites publish estimated figures for actors and reality-TV personalities, but such estimates generally aren’t based on audited financial statements or disclosures from the celebrity.

For that reason, we don’t think it would be accurate to present a specific rupee or dollar amount as Baseer Ali’s confirmed net worth.

What can be established is that Baseer has built a career across several areas of entertainment.

His professional work has included:

Reality television
Television acting
Modelling
Hosting and digital content
Social-media collaborations and brand work

His television résumé now spans nearly a decade.

Baseer Ali’s Career Beyond Roadies and Splitsvilla

Baseer didn’t disappear after his initial MTV reality-show success.

He continued appearing in entertainment projects and gradually expanded beyond the reality-TV format.

One notable appearance was Ace of Space 2, where he again reached the final stages of a reality competition.

Baseer later moved into scripted television and appeared in Kundali Bhagya, marking his acting debut in a major television drama.

In 2025, another major reality-TV opportunity arrived.

Baseer Ali in Bigg Boss 19

Baseer Ali participated in Bigg Boss 19 in 2025, bringing him to another of India’s biggest reality-TV franchises.

His career therefore connects several major youth and reality-TV properties:

Roadies

Roadies Rebirth

And that final step is what makes his current return particularly noteworthy.

Baseer Ali’s Roadies Journey Comes Full Circle

Baseer Ali’s career started with Roadies.

He didn’t win the season.

But not winning clearly wasn’t the end of his Roadies story.

He went from being a Roadies Rising finalist to becoming a Splitsvilla winner, television personality, actor and Bigg Boss contestant.

Now, nine years after his Roadies debut, Baseer has returned to the franchise as a Gang Leader in Roadies Rebirth.

In his own announcement about the comeback, Baseer described Roadies as the place that gave him his beginning and framed Rebirth as the next chapter of that journey.

That’s why the title Roadies Rebirth feels particularly appropriate for him.

He isn’t simply returning to an old reality show.

He’s returning in an entirely different role.

Baseer Ali and the Next Generation of Roadies

The real test will begin when Baseer has contestants to guide.

Being a strong Roadie and being a successful Gang Leader aren’t necessarily the same thing.

Gang Leaders need to recognise potential, make strategic selections, manage different personalities and make decisions that can influence how far their contestants travel in the competition.

Baseer’s advantage is experience.

He’s already stood where the new contestants are standing.

The Roadies Rebirth auditions are selecting the contestants who will eventually compete under the OG and NewG camps.

If you’re interested in participating or following the selection process, read our complete Roadies Rebirth audition registration, dates and venues guide.

Can Baseer Ali Produce the Roadies Rebirth Winner?

That’s one of the biggest questions surrounding his Gang Leader debut.

Roadies Rebirth hasn’t reached the stage where a winner can be predicted responsibly, but Baseer’s performance as a mentor will ultimately be judged partly by how far his contestants progress.

We’re maintaining a dedicated tracker for the MTV Roadies Season 21 winner, which will be updated with contestants, finalists, winning camp and the eventual Roadies Rebirth winner as the season progresses.

For comparison, previous seasons have shown just how dramatically Gang Leaders and gang changes can influence a contestant’s journey.

In Roadies Karm Ya Kaand, eventual winner Vashu Jain started with Prince Narula before a gang reshuffle moved him to Rhea Chakraborty’s gang.

You can revisit that complete season in our Roadies Karm Ya Kaand winner, contestants and Gang Leaders guide.
