Rajveer Dey Roadies: Audition, Journey, Gang & Bigg Boss Bangla Entry

Rajveer Dey is back in the spotlight after entering Bigg Boss Bangla 2026 as a wildcard contestant, leading many viewers to search for his previous reality-show journey on MTV Roadies.

Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Rajveer was already familiar to reality-TV audiences as a contestant on MTV Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand (Season 19).

The Siliguri-based actor and model had actually tried to become a Roadie years earlier. After an unsuccessful attempt during Roadies Xtreme, Rajveer returned for another shot at the show and eventually earned his place in the Roadies journey.

So, who is Rajveer Dey from Roadies? Which gang was he in? What happened during his Roadies journey, and why is everyone searching for him again?

Here is the complete story.

Who Is Rajveer Dey From Roadies?

Rajveer Dey is an actor, model, martial artist and fitness content creator from Siliguri, West Bengal.

Roadies viewers know him primarily from MTV Roadies Season 19: Karm Ya Kaand, which aired in 2023.

When MTV revealed the contestants for the season, Rajveer was introduced as a model, martial artist, fashion enthusiast and fitness content vlogger from Siliguri. Interestingly, MTV’s contestant information also highlighted that this wasn’t his first encounter with the franchise.

He had previously attempted to enter Roadies during MTV Roadies Xtreme.

That earlier rejection makes his eventual selection for Season 19 an important part of the Rajveer Dey Roadies journey.

Rajveer Dey’s First Roadies Audition – Roadies Xtreme

Rajveer’s Roadies story began several years before Karm Ya Kaand.

In 2018, Rajveer appeared for the auditions of MTV Roadies Xtreme.

However, he wasn’t selected for the Roadies journey that time. Biographical profiles about Rajveer as well as the official-style Season 19 contestant introductions later referenced his previous Roadies Xtreme attempt.

For many contestants, that could have been the end of the story.

Rajveer tried again.

Several years later, he returned when Roadies was conducting auditions for Karm Ya Kaand.

This time, things went very differently.

Rajveer Dey Roadies Audition: His Second Chance

Rajveer appeared during the auditions for MTV Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand, where the Gang Leaders were Prince Narula, Gautam Gulati and Rhea Chakraborty, with Sonu Sood hosting the season.

Season 19 introduced an auction-style selection format involving Roadiums.

Contestants needed support from the Gang Leaders to advance before bidding determined which gang they would join.

During Rajveer’s audition, Gautam Gulati bid 1,600 Roadiums while Prince Narula bid 1,500. Rajveer ultimately advanced as a member of Gang Gautam.

After failing to qualify during his earlier Roadies Xtreme attempt, Rajveer had finally become a Roadie.

Which Gang Was Rajveer Dey In?

Rajveer Dey initially belonged to Gautam Gulati’s gang in Roadies Karm Ya Kaand.

The original Season 19 gang lineup placed Rajveer alongside contestants such as Prakram Dandona, Piyu Sharma, Mallika Motiramani, Hassan Siddiquee, Twinkle Chourasia and Digvijay Singh Rathee under Gautam.

However, anyone who watched Karm Ya Kaand will know that the gangs didn’t remain unchanged throughout the competition.

A major twist eventually changed Rajveer’s position in the game.

Rajveer Dey Moved From Gautam Gulati’s Gang to Rhea Chakraborty’s Gang

Rajveer started the Roadies journey under Gautam Gulati, but later moved to Rhea Chakraborty’s gang following a gang-swapping twist.

That change became important to how his journey ultimately ended.

After leaving the show, Rajveer explained that the gang swap changed the relationships and priorities surrounding him.

He said that after moving to Rhea’s gang, he no longer felt like the same priority he had been earlier and some of his relationships with other contestants had also deteriorated.

It eventually contributed to a difficult position at the vote-out.

What Happened to Rajveer Dey in Roadies?

Rajveer survived a significant portion of the Roadies Karm Ya Kaand journey, but was eventually voted out of the competition.

His elimination came after his switch from Gautam’s gang to Rhea’s gang.

Rajveer later discussed what happened during the vote-out and suggested that the gang swap had substantially changed his position within the competition.

According to his post-elimination account, relationships with some contestants had weakened. He specifically discussed his deteriorating equation with Sachin Sharma following previous vote-outs and tasks.

When the vote-out arrived, the majority went against Rajveer.

His Roadies journey was over.

Rajveer Dey on His Roadies Elimination

Rajveer spoke openly about his elimination after leaving the show.

Rather than describing Roadies purely in negative terms, he called his participation a “once in a lifetime opportunity.”

At the same time, he acknowledged how the changing gang dynamics affected him.

His move from Gautam’s team to Rhea’s team meant he entered a different competitive structure where existing relationships and priorities mattered considerably.

Rajveer felt he wasn’t a priority after the swap, and when the vote-out arrived, he didn’t have enough support to survive.

That made his Roadies experience a good example of how being physically capable isn’t necessarily enough to survive the show’s political game.

Rajveer Dey on Prince Narula and Gautam Gulati’s Roadies Fight

Roadies Karm Ya Kaand was also remembered for tensions between Gang Leaders Prince Narula and Gautam Gulati.

After his elimination, Rajveer discussed what it was like for contestants to witness those clashes from inside the show.

Speaking about one of the confrontations, Rajveer said the contestants were surprised by what happened.

He also explained that despite what viewers saw during heated moments, the atmosphere surrounding the contestants and production was generally positive off-camera.

His comments provided fans with an interesting contestant-level perspective on one of Season 19’s biggest talking points.

Rajveer Wanted to See Rannvijay and Prince Together

There’s another interesting connection between Rajveer Dey and the current Roadies era.

After Karm Ya Kaand, Rajveer revealed that one thing he wished he could have experienced was seeing the chemistry between Rannvijay Singha and Prince Narula on Roadies.

That comment feels particularly relevant today.

Rannvijay is back at the centre of the franchise for Roadies Rebirth Season 21, while Prince Narula is among the returning Gang Leaders.

Rajveer Dey Before and After Roadies

Roadies wasn’t Rajveer’s first experience in entertainment.

He had already worked as an actor and model before Karm Ya Kaand and had participated in modelling competitions.

Profiles published around his Roadies appearance describe him as a winner at the Peter England Mr India 2017 competition, after which he represented India at international pageants. He has also appeared in advertisements and worked in television and web entertainment.

Fitness has remained another significant part of his public persona.

His background in modelling, martial arts and fitness made him a natural candidate for a physically demanding reality show such as Roadies.

But in September 2026, he returned to reality television in a very different environment.

Rajveer Dey Enters Bigg Boss Bangla 2026

On September 7, 2026, Rajveer Dey was revealed as a wildcard contestant on Bigg Boss Bangla.

The Siliguri actor-model entered shortly after the exit of actor Anindya Sengupta.

Bigg Boss Bangla had premiered on August 30, meaning Rajveer entered the house only about a week into the season.

His previous Roadies appearance immediately became relevant again as viewers unfamiliar with him began looking into his reality-TV background.

And Rajveer didn’t enter the Bigg Boss house quietly.

Rajveer Dey’s Bigg Boss Bangla Journey Begins With Drama

Rajveer quickly became involved in the dynamics of the Bigg Boss house.

Within his first few days, reports highlighted his attempts at captaincy, disagreements with housemates and interactions with several contestants.

His arrival changed some of the existing equations inside the house almost immediately.

That fresh television exposure provides a straightforward explanation for renewed interest in searches around Rajveer Dey Roadies.

People discovering Rajveer through Bigg Boss naturally want to know:

Who is Rajveer Dey?

Was Rajveer in Roadies?

Which season did he participate in?

Which Roadies gang was he part of?

What happened to him?

His Roadies history answers all of those questions.

Why Is Rajveer Dey Roadies Trending Again?

The biggest reason is Bigg Boss Bangla 2026.

Rajveer’s wildcard entry has put him in front of a fresh audience, particularly viewers in West Bengal who may not have followed his Roadies journey in 2023.

His current Bigg Boss appearance is therefore bringing renewed attention to his previous reality-show career.

But Rajveer’s Roadies story itself also has several interesting elements.

He failed his first Roadies attempt, came back years later, successfully joined Gang Gautam, survived much of the journey, switched to Gang Rhea, and was eventually eliminated following changing alliances and a vote-out.

Now he’s taking on another reality competition.

Rajveer Dey: Roadies to Bigg Boss Bangla

Rajveer’s reality-TV journey can be summarised as:

The most interesting part may be the persistence behind it.

His first attempt at becoming a Roadie didn’t work.

His second did.

And three years after Karm Ya Kaand, another major reality show has brought him back into the conversation.

Roadies Has Changed Since Rajveer’s Season

Rajveer competed during a very different phase of MTV Roadies.

Karm Ya Kaand featured Sonu Sood as host with Gautam Gulati, Prince Narula and Rhea Chakraborty serving as Gang Leaders.
