Why Is Roadies Season 21 Called Roadies Rebirth?

Season 21 has officially been titled Roadies REBIRTH.

The season was unveiled with a new Phoenix-themed identity, representing rebirth, renewal and transformation. India Today’s report on the announcement notes that the Phoenix forms the centre of the new season’s visual identity.

The title appears to be more than simply a branding change.

Season 21 is introducing a different Gang Leader structure while also bringing back several personalities closely associated with previous eras of Roadies.

Rannvijay Singha Returns for Roadies Season 21

One of the biggest developments surrounding the Roadies new season 2026 is the return of Rannvijay Singha as host.

MTV confirmed Rannvijay’s return when Roadies Rebirth was announced in August 2026.

His comeback has naturally generated considerable interest because of his long association with the franchise.

Rannvijay isn’t the only familiar Roadies personality returning either.

Season 21 introduces six Gang Leaders divided between OGs and NewGs.

Roadies Rebirth OGs

Prince Narula
Neha Dhupia
Nikhil Chinapa

Roadies Rebirth NewGs

Abhishek Malhan
Baseer Ali
Bani J

The two-camp structure has already been seen during the Chandigarh leg of the audition process, with contestants being organised around the larger OGs vs NewGs concept.

What to Expect From Roadies Rebirth Season 21

Roadies Rebirth is shaping up differently from the previous season.

The biggest change revealed so far is the OGs vs NewGs concept.

Rather than simply positioning every Gang Leader independently, Season 21 has divided six Gang Leaders into two camps.

The OG side brings together Prince Narula, Neha Dhupia and Nikhil Chinapa, while Abhishek Malhan, Baseer Ali and Bani J represent the NewGs. The format was showcased during the Chandigarh auditions, where the two sides pooled their selections and strategy.

The return of Rannvijay, combined with established Roadies personalities and newer names, fits directly into the season’s Rebirth theme.

More information about contestants, teams, tasks and the actual Roadies journey should emerge as production progresses.
